After Denning . The MANDY Report At Last - Mandy Rice-Davies Tel

£75.00

Published by Confidential Publications Ltd., 36/38 Whitefriars ST. London, E. C. 4., UK, 1964, 40 pages

A tabloid style confessional designed to cash in on the Profumo affair. Told in the first person by Mandy Rice-Davies, who with Christine Keeler was one of the two women at the centre of the 1963 scandal which helped unseat the Macmillan government at the next General Election. Profusely illustrated w/ b&w photographs, with numerous pictures of Rice-Davies in varying degrees of undress, including a topless shot for a two-page colour centre spread. Uncommon, and probably the most elusive contemporaneous item on the affair.

Condition: Fair, The cover is detached from the staples but the binding is otherwise intact. Some light edgewear to covers, bottom corner bumped/creased but otherwise a very decent, sound copy with no marks or scribbles. Surprisingly scarce: the only copies on COPAC at the British Library, the National Library of Scotland and Oxford.
