John B. Thompson, Kozy Books, 1962, Softcover. K165.

Back cover blurb:
John B. Thompson was born on a large Louisiana plantation, spending his childhood and early manhood in the woods and bayous of this lush land. His early life was spent in the outdoors, hunting, fishing roaming afoot and on horseback. He spent four years with the United States Marines in the Pacific, from Samoa through Guadacanal, Tarawa, the Marshalls and the Gilberts to Saipan. Travelled Africa, Asia, New Zealand and Australia as well as Mexico and Central America. John Thompson became a writer the hard way, having studied engineering while at collage, He says "I flunked dismally and I'm glad I did. The cold logic of the slide rule was a little too offensive."

Like many writers he is an indefatigable traveler, and there are few places he has not visited. His firm conclusion "I have never been any place that was not intensely interesting, nor have I found a people who were not in essence good."

I have many novels published. My hobbies: Photography, fencing, hunting and fishing, archaeology, travel, psychiatry.

Condition: Good. Cover is shelfworn and has some creases and a small pen mark on the back, pages are off White.
