A small chapbook of alternating poems from the two punk songwriters. This book is part one of two, with part two being titled "Independence day" and originally printed at a later date. Smith and Verlaine have been two influential names in rock and roll and the punk movement, and have collaborated together on albums and with other names such as Lee Ranaldo, Steve Shelley, Jeff Buckley and Bruce Springsteen.


Condition; Good, the back cover has a small indentation and some very minor stubs to lower of page corners.
