After leaving Marvel Comics at the end of the 1960s, Jack Kirby went to DC, where he soon created the series of super-hero comics known collectively as "The Fourth World." One of his first projects for DC was the monotone magazine SPIRIT WORLD, which features stories of the occult and the supernatural. Kirby Take his earlier collage ideas (as seen in the Fantastic Four to convey cosmic dimensions), to a new level of sophistication making this publication a must have for Kirby collectors. Some consider Jack's departure from Marvel the end of the Silver age and the start of the Bronze age.
